Meet Dr Jacques Glover (Dentist)
Dr Glover is from the sunny Bay of Plenty in the North Island of New Zealand. He studied Dentistry at the University of Otago where he was awarded multiple prizes for his efforts.
After graduation, he then spent three years working in the public health system in a high intensity Oral and Maxillofacial surgical team. Here he was involved in treating complex facial trauma’s, infections and pathology and trained under some of New Zealand’s most proficient Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons. This was where he developed his passion for surgical dentistry and providing a high standard of care. He became very adept in TMD treatments, surgical extractions, communication, and using 3D imaging and printing to diagnose cases, explain issues and improve patient outcomes.

After a short term locum position in the Whitsundays of North Queensland, he fell in love with general dentistry and Australia and decided to make the jump over permanently and settle in Sydney. He regularly performs all aspects of dentistry and has a special interest in surgical dentistry (including implants and wisdom tooth extraction), full mouth rehabilitations and digital dentistry. He loves challenging cases and using modern workflows and equipment to create reliable and effective results. With a strong focus on the patient, he works with them to find the best treatment for their unique needs.
In His Spare Time
On his days off, you can find him with his pack on his shoulder, exploring his new outdoor stomping grounds. As an avid hiker, he has explored most of New Zealand’s National Parks and is looking forward to working his way through Australia’s. And if it’s too hot, then you’ll find him underwater, enjoying his new PADI license.
He is committed to further education and staying on the cutting edge of his practise, having completed multiple professional development courses. In 2024, he sat his RACDS Primary Dental Sciences Exam and presented research at the distinguished Australia and New Zealand Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery conference in Cairns. He has multiple research projects awaiting publication and enjoys learning new techniques and practises to improve his patients treatment.
