Single Visit Crowns

Have you ever had a crown made for you? Then you will know that this can be a lengthy procedure, including multiple appointments, one to prepare each tooth fo the crown and another to have the crown fitted. With advances in dental technology, such as CAD CAM dentistry (CEREC), it is now possible to prepare a tooth or teeth for a crown and fit it in one visit.

The resulting crown is an exact fit to the patients tooth as it has been created with precision by CAD design.

Having all of this done in the same appointment also means that the patient requires only one local aneasthetic, as the tooth is still numb by the time the crown is ready to be fitted. This procedure removes the need for a temporary crown to be made and worn during the time the porcelain crown is being made.

Single visit crowns are a fast and simple procedure that uses precision technology for the best outcome possible. And while the crown is being made you can sit and relax, or browse the internet on the complimentary iPad for your appointment.

Please be aware that each case must be assessed individually by the dentist.
